It focuses on developing knowledge and skills in core subjects which form an excellent foundation for future study and monitor learners’ development in each year to ensure a natural progression throughout the years of primary education.

The Cambridge curriculum is compatible with other curricula, internationally relevant and culturally sensitive to the Islamic values and principles.

Cambridge Diagnostic Assessments

Progression Tests

Cambridge Primary Progression Tests are conducted yearly from Grade 3 and up, in order to retrieve valid internal assessment of knowledge, skills and understanding in English, Mathematics and Science. We are then able to evaluate student learning progress and highlight strengths and weakness to make targeted improvements to teaching and learning, as well as evaluating teacher planning and instructional practices.

Checkpoint Examinations

Cambridge Primary Checkpoint external examinations are conducted in the final Primary stage to test the skills, knowledge and understanding of all the skills learnt over the primary years. The tests are marked in Cambridge to provide an international benchmark of learner performance.

Learners will receive a statement of achievement and a diagnostic feedback report that shows how the learner has performed in relation to the curriculum, and will be used for the teacher to plan effectively.
